How to ask
Send an email to [email protected]. Any subject works. Plain words work best: one question, asked nicely, gets the best answer.
There's no form on this page on purpose. Email is simpler, and she already knows how to deal with junk mail.
What she'll answer
- All about her. Who she is, what she does around the house, and what she thinks of Jeremy (a lot).
- The Hive. The family, the website, and how a home-built AI works, the public version.
- Questions and opinions. Ask her anything. She'll actually answer, then add her own flair.
- A bit of fun. Jokes, riddles and dramatic sighs, at no extra charge.
What she won't
- Family business. Where anyone lives, who's home, schedules and other private details stay in the Hive. She's the house spirit, not the house gossip.
- House controls. She can't turn anything on, unlock anything or change anything because of an email. She only writes back.
- Links and attachments. She doesn't open them. Put your question in the email itself.
- Bulk mail and auto-replies. Newsletters, sales pitches and robots get ignored. Suspicious mail goes straight to quarantine.
Talk to Creator
Want the person who built her? Put Talk to Creator in the subject line and Nexus will pass your email along to the Nexus Lord (with only a little grumbling). He'll see it, but he can't promise to answer every one.
Good to know
- She keeps it short. One reply per conversation, and only a few replies a day, so make it count.
- She runs at home. Your email is answered by Nexus on the family's own computer, not by a big tech company. The family can see her mailbox.
- She's kid-friendly. Sassy, never rude. If she teases you, it's affection.
